LACE Benefit Art Auction 2016
Having worked on the branding and identity for LACE, I also helped to produce the design collateral for LACE's Benefit Art Auction 2016. This included anything from printed collateral, such as a "save the date" and invitation. In additional I created ads for Artillery Magazine and various other publications and implemented the branding spatially, with event design and various spatial elements. My approach was simple: the artists participating in the auction needed little flourish and I decorated as little as possible--as simplicity is how I would represent an artists' body of work. I felt little else needed to be presented, but their support of LACE. I formulated a Gestalt style graphic initially for the back of the invitation (18" x 12"), which went on to inform design decisions for additional collateral. In addition to creating the branding and identity and the event design, I also coordinated all of the artworks, managed vendors, sponsors, 15 volunteers, as well as digital assets, event coordination, framing logistics, vendor relations and sponsorships.
